I only go on FB about once a week for about ten minutes now for purposes of checking messages from Italian cousins and event stuff. Everytime, I'm deluged with the most unhinged AI nonsense. My favorite was last year, a post about Nick Sirianni speaking at Jane Goodall's memorial. With 1k comments.🙃

I absolutely resent the fact that there is just no good way to get community events broadly posted. The only reason I go on there is to support the non-profits I'm a part of and I hate every minute of it these days. I wish there was any good alternative for it (and sadly Bluesky isn't it).

CLASSIFIER RATIONALE

The post expresses genuine frustration with the lack of an alternative platform/tool for posting and discovering community events at scale. The author explicitly states they wish there was 'any good alternative' and that existing options (Facebook, Bluesky) don't meet their need. This is a category-level gap rather than a complaint about a specific product's bug. The parent context reinforces dissatisfaction with current platforms for this use case.
