Pre-shipment product change notification and confirmation system

A system that alerts regular customers when a product they frequently purchase has been changed or modified, displays the changes clearly, waits for customer confirmation before proceeding with shipment, and allows easy order cancellation if the customer is not satisfied with the changes. This would prevent customers from receiving unwanted modified products and eliminate the need for returns and confrontations.

If the product you always sell got changed then change the pictures/description or tell your regular customers that? And when you ask/notify the customer then WAIT for their response before shipping the package out. I can't even cancel & not waste my time

This has happened 3 times these 2 months, all from my regular shops. Don't I deserve some basic respect as your customer? Why do I have to keep making these uncomfortable confrontation after receiving the package when it could be stopped at step 1, then wasting my time sending back the packages.

CLASSIFIER RATIONALE

The combined parent + reply expresses a genuine unmet demand: a system for e-commerce sellers to notify customers of product changes before shipping, wait for confirmation, and allow easy cancellation. This is a category-level gap (seller communication + order management) rather than a complaint about a specific platform's bug, and the reply signals genuine frustration with wasted time and repeated issues.
